Dick Vijn Logistics, a family business with 75 years of activity in the field of transport and logistics based in Zwaagdijk, North Holland, will have, in the near future, a new logistics warehouse measuring around 14,400 m2, which will be built from sustainably and in accordance with the latest standards and requirements.
“We started three years ago with our first installation in Echt (Limburg), due to its strategic location. Now, three years later, we are present in five locations in the region, namely two facilities in Echt, two in Sittard and one next to the Born terminal, totaling around 40,000 m2. With our headquarters located on the other side of the Netherlands, this is almost unmanageable, hence the need for centralization.”

It is a multi-user, multi-language, multi-company and multi-national system, suitable for companies with a single installation and specialized in a certain type of transport, as well as international networks and business groups with hundreds of users and multiple types of logistic services.
The transversality between companies in NaviTrans, allows a business group to use the same basic data, such as customers, suppliers, addresses, postal codes.
The multi-deposit architecture allows that with just one data entry, information is available to all departments and companies in the group.
The international aspect of NaviTrans allows managing processes and management information in accordance with the legal requirements of each country, also allowing the use of different languages and currencies.
