Revenues from Dynamics ERP and CRM products and <em>Cloud<\/em> services increased by 26%.<\/p>\n<hr id=\"system-readmore\" \/>\n<p><b>Microsoft Corp. recently announced its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 with revenue of $ 41.7 billion (up 19% compared to the same period last year), operating income of $ 17.0 billion (up 31%) and earnings per share of $ 2.03 (up 45%). Net income rose 45% compared to the same quarter last year, reaching $ 15.5 billion. These results out-perform the analyst expectations. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"well\">\n<blockquote class=\"text-jutify\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0;\"><p><em>\u201cThe Microsoft Cloud, with its end-to-end solutions, continues to provide compelling value to our customers generating $17.7 billion in commercial cloud revenue, up 33% year over year,&#8221; <\/em>said <b>said Amy Hood, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Microsoft.<\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p>With this continuous growth, Microsoft\u2019s cloud business remains larger than the combined cloud businesses of Google and Amazon..<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"services_vertical horizontal_services row\" style=\"background-color: #efefef; padding: 25px; border-radius: 5px; color: #000000;\">\n<p><b><br \/>\nUnlike other vendors, Microsoft and its Dynamics 365 partner network appear to be little affected by the crisis. Revenues from Dynamics ERP and CRM products and Cloud services increased 26%, driven primarily by 45% growth in Dynamics 365 cloud revenue. This growth is about three times faster than the average growth of the ERP and CRM solutions market.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This sustained growth enables Microsoft to continue her investments in the field of Research and Development, personnel growth and continuous innovation.
