#035 MULTIPLE REPORT LAYOUTS
We know it’s possible from the Web Client, using the Custom Layouts and Report Layout Selection features in Business Central, to add new layouts to Reports.
Business Central allows the possibility to define different layouts directly in AL, without the need to create the new layout from Custom Layouts page.
A new Rendering section was added to the Report and ReportExtension objects.
This adds the possibility of having not only multiple layouts, but multiple layouts of the same type (Excel, Word or RDLC).
Once the app is published the layouts become available in the Report Layout Selection page.
After selecting the desired layout in the Report Layout Selection page it becomes the new default Report layout.
