Dunlop Protective Footwear (DPF) is the leading manufacturer of protective footwear with a presence in over 50 countries worldwide. DPF decided to reinforce its commitment to Microsoft business solutions, including the upgrade of its ERP to Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (Dynamics 365 F&SCM).
Founded in 1986 in Lisbon by Marina Reis Ramos and Mário Tendeiro, “Gato Preto” is dedicated to the commercialization of decorative products under the motto “Free houses, happy owners”. By integrating data flow between retail and accounting solutions, Loja do Gato Preto has eliminated data errors and manual processing.
It is the Portuguese subsidiary of the Cork Supply, present in the United States and Australia and the world leader in the natural cork sector and holding a 12% share of Portuguese cork. As an industry, Cork Supply’s needs were essentially centred on in obtaining an integrated solution with the production component.
An IT solution does not always have the opportunity to keep up with the growth of an organization almost from its inception. In the case of the Human Resources module, in addition to this reality, this implementation also had the virtue of being a complete solution and not just with a view to processing salaries.
