- Import Solution & Enable Connection: Import the Field Service solution and establish a connection in Business Central.
- Consumption Posting: Define a Project Journal Template and Batch to track item/service usage in Field Service work orders within Business Central.
- Duration Conversion: Specify the unit of measure to convert Field Service service durations to Business Central quantities (e.g., hours).
- Synchronization Timing: Choose when work order products/services sync with Business Central (e.g., on use or completion).
- Automatic Posting: Set automatic posting of project journals based on your preference (manual, work order completion, or usage).
- Finalize Integration: Click “Finish” to complete the setup.
How it Works

Based on your Field Service Integration settings, consumption information for used products and services automatically transfers to Business Central. Use the “Job Planning Lines” page in Business Central to monitor posted quantities and quantities ready for invoicing.
