Accordingly, to Abel Aguiar, Executive Director & Board Member at Microsoft Portugal, IAMCP plays a crucial role in the Microsoft ecosystem. Since its creation in 1994, the IAMCP has sought to bring together the best Microsoft partners to identify business opportunities, establish relationships through networking, access to resources and visibility on Microsoft programs, initiatives, and products, create a space for sharing and, very importantly, as a feedback mechanism from partners to Microsoft. ‘We consider the IAMCP to be a very valuable asset to preserve. In an increasingly demanding environment from the point of view of competitiveness and channel innovation, technological specialization, scarcity of talent and the need for flexibility in organizations, the ability to create Partner to Partner (P2P) models is an asset for organizations. The award of this P2P prize to Arquiconsult is recognition of this ability.’
When asked about the importance of having a national partner, Arquiconsult, with the capacity to obtain partnerships in the Dynamics area in various parts of the world, Abel Aguiar points out how strategic is for Microsoft to highlight partners with the ability to offer a complete set of solutions and services in Dynamics ecosystem.
‘Firstly, from the point of view of access to scarce talent, it allows Microsoft partners in various parts of the world to have access to professionals specialized in the various modules, with sector-specific knowledge, broadening the talent pool. This access to a wider talent pool also allows for more competitive deployment models, particularly in nearshoring models. On the other hand, when deploying to Multinational clients, having access to local resources in multiple geographies to roll out with greater knowledge of countries, legislation, procedures, and market practices. This deployment advantage is also reflected in the sales process, with greater capillarity supported by addressing business opportunities, with references and sector and country-specific knowledge, giving the Microsoft Dynamics proposal a greater competitive advantage.’
The Nearshore model is one of the possibilities for structuring Partner 2 Partner alliances. Building Dynamics competence centers in Portugal, taking advantage of national competitiveness, foreign language literacy, ease of attracting talent and technological skills, allows for greater flexibility in deploying solutions.‘Portugal has established itself as a very competent country in nearshoring, and these skills should be reflected in favor of job creation in the country, attracting and retaining qualified talent in the country, and leveraging the creation of more solid and competitive national companies. Arquiconsult’s recognition by its partners is an acknowledgement of the work done in these areas,” says Abel Aguiar.
In Patrícia Maia’s vision, Arquiconsult Nearshore and International Projects Manager, ‘the success of our partnerships is due, above all, to the fact that we always try to contribute with the best solutions and with the right team in order to bring the most added value and knowledge to the partner. Having received this award motivates us to keep maintaining lasting partnerships always focused on the partner success.
