IMPORTANT LIFECYCLE INFORMATION ON THE ARQUICONSULT PORTUGUESE LOCALIZATION FOR MICROSOFT AXAPTA AND MICROSOFT DYNAMICS AX
As you know, Arquiconsult has been providing ongoing extended support (fixes and updates to existing features) to the “Portuguese Localization pack” for already discontinued versions of Microsoft Axapta and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Due to the increasing complexity of maintaining a growing number of active versions of the Portuguese Localization Pack for Microsoft Dynamics, we are ending all support (including extended paid support) as of December 31st, 2021, for the following major versions (and all associated minor versions):
- Microsoft Dynamics Axapta 3.0 (Microsoft end of support was on 13.01.2009).
- Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 (Microsoft end of support was on 10.11.2011).
- Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 (Microsoft end of support was on 04.10.2018).
- Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 (Microsoft end of support was on 10.09.2018).
- Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 (Microsoft end of support was on 10.09.2018),
Starting January 1st, 2022, the Portuguese Localization for Microsoft Dynamics AX / 365 F&SCM will only be actively supported on the following versions:
- Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 (CU13) (Microsoft end of support is planned for 10.12.2021).
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM (one version release cycle).
We will continue to actively support Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 (CU13) until 01.02.2022, at what time only Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM will be actively supported and AX 2012 R3 (CU13) will go into extended support (paid updates) until 01.10.2023.
Customers are encouraged to update their existing platforms to a supported version as soon as possible.
If Customers decide not to update to a supported version, Arquiconsult cannot guarantee any support (fixes and updates to existing features or new releases covering future legal requirements) on discontinued versions. Be advised that the Portuguese Localization has a release plan until the end of 2021, that includes new features that will be mandatory in certain business scenarios (electronic invoicing to public entities is one example). These new features are not going to be released for already discontinued versions (ranging from Axapta 3.0 to AX 2009).
As a matter of clarification, for a customer to gain access to active or extended support and to an upgrade option, an active enhancement plan for the Portuguese Localization must be in place. If your enhancement plan has expired or lapsed, you can reactivate it at a fee of 18% on the current license price list value for the lapsed period.
