ARQUICONSULT CREATES TECHNOLOGICAL HUB FOR TALENT CAPTURE AT UTAD
Arquiconsult and the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) have just signed a collaboration protocol for the creation of a technological hub to attract talent in that higher education institution.
The project is already underway and expects to receive in June this year the first 10 graduates from the Computer Engineering and Electrotechnical and Computer Engineering courses. Students will integrate this unit located within the UTAD space, which will allow students to get closer to the business world. At the end of the first year, Arquiconsult plans to train 30 graduates.
According to Paulo Mota, director of Arquiconsult, “the creation of this unit and the establishment of this protocol with UTAD are for us a very important step in the development of a relationship of trust that we intend to cement. We believe in the quality of teaching at this university and we know the potential of its graduates, as well as we believe that this will be a winning bet that will allow us to attract qualified professionals.”
In addition, one of the main objectives of the partnership between the two institutions is to encourage the establishment of young talents from technological areas in the interior of the country.
In order to encourage the participation of students, the company will monitor their academic path and assist in carrying out work developed within the scope of degrees, allowing, in the end, an academic internship at the technology hub. For students who intend to do the internship, Arquiconsult undertakes to pay for the last semester of the master’s.
