NEW LEGAL OBLIGATIONS 2021 – IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SINGLE DOCUMENT CODE AND QR CODE

The solution for affixing the QR Code on fiscally relevant documents, issued from Microsoft Dynamics NAV /365 Business Central systems, is now available. Know the requirements for incorporating these codes into documents.

We inform you that the solution for affixing the QR Code on fiscally relevant documents, issued from Microsoft Dynamics NAV /365 Business Central systems, is now available.

Additionally, we inform that, with regard to the ATCUD, and notwithstanding the postponement considered in Dispatch 412/2020-XXII (more information Here), it is foreseen that, until January 2022, this code will assume the value ‘0’ when included in the QR Code and, also, for the purposes of reporting in the SAFT file (PT). This means that the technical changes that will be made will affect not only the affixing of the QR Code on the documents, but also the necessary adaptations of the system to include the ATCUD.

Regarding the requirements for incorporating these codes in documents:

QR CODE

  • It must be in the Header or Footer of the first or last page of the document and be perfectly legible;
  • It will be at least 30x30mm and a safety margin of 2.5mm.

ATCUD – Unique Document Code

  • It must appear on every page of the document and be located immediately above the QR Code;
  • The ATCUD will only be displayed when it enters into force, so at this stage it will be hidden.

We further inform that, according to AT FAQ’s, the QR code may be implemented before 01/01/2021, in order to allow the adaptation of applications to comply with the legislation.
