INVOICES NUMBERING SERIES – COMMUNICATION TO TAX AUTHORITY (TA)

To communicate to Tax Authority (TA)  the Numbering Series used to post Invoices and other fiscally relevant documents, a new update for Microsoft Dynamics NAV/365 Business Central is now available. We also inform you that the solution is prepared for the two communication mechanisms provided by the Tax Authority: manual or web services.

 

Please note that it’s mandatory to communicate the Numbering Series in the following classes of documents:

  • Invoices and corrective documents
    • issued in the name of the taxable person
    • issued under self-billing
    • issued in the name and on behalf of third parties
  • Transportation documents
  • Working Documents
  • Receipts

Also, it’s important to keep in mind that:

  • According to ordinance 351-2021.XXII, although the ATCUD can be associated with the series in use and communicated during the year 2022, it is only mandatory from 1/1/2023;
  • Multi-annual series are only communicated in the year in which they start to be used;
  • Each numbering series must be communicated to TA before being used.

The updates are available to install, so we kindly ask our Customers to create a new ticket on the Support Platform, in order to assure a correct planning of the work.

Keeping the system updated, and in a supported version, is essential to ensure that the program is compliant with the Legal and Tax Requirements in force.
