TJA UPGRADES DYNAMICS NAV

TJA, one of the most respected transport and logistics companies in Portugal and Europe, started 2019 with an important upgrade in its management software system.

After 10 years of using Dynamics NAV and NaviTrans – the most complete solutions on the market and that best responded to the specificities of the sector – TJA, in partnership with Arquiconsult, has always been evolving and adapting these solutions to the needs that have arisen in the meantime, achieving achieve a direct positive impact on the efficiency of its operation and management control.

With the exponential increase in the information flow generated in the company’s structure in the meantime, it was found that the technological version that was being used was no longer responding effectively, and it was decided to upgrade NaviTrans. One of the biggest challenges of this upgrade was focused on the operational department, namely, in the communication between vehicles with the ERP, due to the number of users and operations involved. Although some resistance to change on the part of users was expected, after the first week of using the new release, it was completely outdated, due to the advantages that this version brings.

In the words of Sandra Amador, Chief Financial Officer, expectations regarding upgarde are high. Above all, the aim is to “improvement in the performance of the application in general and, consequently, improvement in user satisfaction, an application that facilitates the daily tasks of each user and more flexible in terms of exchange of information (data import and export), and also, that allows the development and integration of solutions for the continuous improvement of the business.”

Arquiconsult is committed to giving the best response to future challenges, sustaining lasting partnerships, guaranteeing its client an integrated management tool that guarantees control over the data flow of its operations, costs and profits of its activity .
