The legislation on Invoicing Software Programs specifies that it’s their obligation to ensure the certification of documents issued with external effectiveness. Included in this set of documents are the so-called Working Documents, which are defined as “other documents issued, regardless of their designation, which can be presented to the customer for verification of goods or provision of services, even if subject to subsequent invoicing. ”.


To ensure the compliance of the documents issued by Microsoft Dynamics NAV/365 Business Central, a set of updates has been made available to grant the:

  • signature of documents (hash code)
  • creation of a change log, to make sure that all tax-relevant information is not changed after signing
  • implementation of the rules and validations inherent to a certified document, such as the existence of a QR CODE and ATCUD for each of these documents

Please note that, in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/365 Business Central, the following documents fall into this category of Working Documents:

  • Sales Quote
  • Sales Order
  • Sales Proforma Invoice
  • Service Invoice
  • Service Order

The updates are available to install, so we kindly ask our Customers to create a new ticket on the support platform (, in order to assure a correct planning of the work.

Keeping the system updated, and in a supported version, is essential to ensure that the program is compliant with the Legal and Tax Requirements in force.
