The Country Manager will be responsible for leading and developing Arquiconsult’s local operations in Angola, ensuring the administrative management of the local entity, business growth, and monitoring ongoing projects, acting as the company’s main representative in the country.
- Minimum experience of 3 years in a Project Manager role, preferably in implementing business solutions (ideally ERP’s, where D365 BC experience is especially valued);
- Designing and implementing solutions and processes in the business solution, preferably in consultancy is valued;
- Experience of working within teams that use WATERFALL and AGILE methodologies (preferred);
- Teamwork experience within a business context and associated with IT.
Principal Job Activities and Responsibilities
Administrative Management
- Management of tax and accounting processes with the external accounting firm;
- Management of administrative processes (collections, payments, banks, among others);
- Ensuring local relations with the Tax Authority, Social Security, and other entities;
- Liaison with the corporate administrative back office.
Business Development
- Establishing commercial contacts, holding meetings to qualify and characterize opportunities;
- Coordinating and following the sales cycle, including the preparation of proposals;
- Managing the pipeline of opportunities under your responsibility;
- Representing Arquiconsult in public tenders, ensuring the response and processing of the respective procedures;
- Plan and implement commercial and marketing activities for business development.
Project Monitoring
- Represent Arquiconsult locally in project management;
- Provide local logistical support to expatriate project teams.
